Many biocidal actives are lost

In 2009 a large number on non-inclusion decisions were published for existing active substances that are not being supported in particular product types.  Products containing these active substances will have to be removed from the market within 12 months of the entering into force of such decision; unless otherwise stipulated in that non-inclusion decision. There have been several hundred active substance / product types where non-inclusion decisions have been published.
