Peter Batten retires from JSC International

Peter Batten retires from JSC International at the end of March after nearly 9 years with the company.  Peter worked for over 20 years at ICI/Zeneca’s Central Toxicology Laboratory where he was instrumental in building their metabolism section.  In 1995, Peter moved to Covance, where he enhanced the scientific credibility of the animal metabolism section and also shaped the programme management service for Covance’s clients.

At JSC Peter has provided expert advice on chemistry, metabolism and human safety and has had a key role in developing regulatory strategies to support our clients from both the agrochemical and biocides industry.  Peter has also provided invaluable support to the rest of the team at JSC with his wealth of knowledge in chemistry and metabolism.

Peter will be greatly missed at JSC but we hope you will join us in wishing him all the very best for a long and happy retirement.
