Sam joined JSC in 2011 and her experience further enhances the expert REACH knowledge at JSC

After gaining a BSc (Hons) in Applied Biochemistry, Sam embarked on a PhD at the University of Sheffield studying the pharmacogenetics of azathioprine in patients with inflammatory bowel disease. After gaining her PhD, Sam discovered Regulatory Affairs at Croda International where she dealt with all regulatory enquiries from cosmetic, pharmaceutical and industrial customers. It was also where Sam got her first taste for REACH. From there Sam moved to Belzona Polymerics where she managed the regulatory department and enhanced her knowledge of global legislation and project management.

In her spare time, Sam is an avid snowboarder, especially where there is lots of powder snow. Sam is also a regular at the gym for spin classes and when the weather is nice enjoys leisurely cycling in the local area.
