Update on active substances included onto Annex I of Directive 91/414

Positive opinion on Annex I inclusion has recently been given in the EU for the following new active substances:

• FEN 560 (fenugreek seed powder)  and Sulfuryl fluoride - voted in Standing Committee on 11 May 2010

Positive opinion on renewal of Annex I inclusion has been given in the EU for:

• Azimsulfuron, Azoxystrobin, Imazalil and Prohexadione - voted in Standing Committee on 9 July 2010

The following active substances have had changes made to their conditions of inclusion:

• Penconazole - restriction of use to greenhouses only has been lifted.  The confirmatory data requirement to address the environmental fate and behaviour of specific soil metabolites has been amended
• Iprodione - field of use now extended to include use as a nematicide
• Dimethachlor, Quizalofop-P and Zeta-cypermethrin - minor amendments have been made to the Review reports for these actives to reflect finalised reference specifications
• Cyprodinil - the Review Report for this active has been amended to record that the submission of confirmatory data has addressed the relevant data requirements set during the peer review
