Alison is an ERM Partner in the European regulatory affairs team. She began her regulatory career in 1992 at the UK government authority PSD, now CRD, where she was a project manager for new active substance registrations. Alison moved into regulatory consultancy in 2000. She has gained extensive experience over the past 25 years supporting clients around the world on regulatory matters related to plant protection products (Regulation 1107/2009, OECD, CODEX) including in the specific area of biologicals and biostimulants. Alison has acted as UK representative at European Commission and OECD Working Groups and trained officials and industry experts in Europe and Africa. She has experience in building and developing project management services in the consultancy field. Alison spent six years supporting supply chains for biorenewable fuels and materials as Head of Communications and Marketing at NNFCC, the UK’s national centre. Alison has a PhD in fungal ecology from Cranfield University.
In her spare time Alison volunteers at a local museum and loves to travel far and wide.
